The silica gel packets or desiccants are one of the safest ways to dry your phone. Users get extra packets of silica gel when they buy electronic items. They are also easy to find in any big store.
They do a better job of soaking up moisture because they don’t touch the phone very much. Put some silica gel packets on top of and below your phone. Let them soak up the water inside the device.
What To Do Next After Doing This Steps?
So you drop your iPhone in the water and have been storing it for a few days in silica gel in the hopes that it will dry off. Now what do we do?
If you think the thing has dried out enough, you can try turning it back on. If this does not work, you can try putting it back in the rice or desiccant and wait a bit longer.
